7 Free Agents To Sign With AEW

Over the last five years AEW has seen its roster continuously grow through the acquisitions of top free agent talent, and 2024 has been no different.

We’ve seen Kazuchika Okada, Mercedes Mone, Kamille and Ricochet all put pen to paper with Tony Khan’s company, and we could see many others join that list before the year is out.

Here are seven free agent signings AEW could make in the near future.

7. Mustafa Ali

Since his WWE release in September 2023, Mustafa Ali has been competing relentlessly on the indies, as well as going on a substantial run in TNA for most of 2024.

This run would see Ali capture the TNA X-Division Championship, however, after losing that title at Slammiversary in July he would depart the company shortly afterwards.

This leaves many questions as to where Ali could end up next, with AEW and NJPW being the two most obvious options, and ones that would be high on fans’ wishlists.

Ali’s in-ring style seems tailor made for AEW and it would be truly refreshing to see him tie up with some fresh faces and familiar foes from his WWE days such as Buddy Matthews and Ricochet.
