When Mustafa Ali was released from WWE in September 2023, many fans believed he would soon arrive in All Elite Wrestling.
However, Ali took another route and became an instant hit on the independent scene, proving himself to be a top draw. The former WWE star then debuted in TNA Wrestling where he won the X-Division Championship.
After finishing up his run in TNA, Ali has remained on the indies, but he seems like someone who could offer a lot in a role on AEW television.
With his political character and hybrid in-ring style, Ali could become a formidable opponent for a few former AEW World Champions like MJF or Hangman Adam Page.
