The AEW tag team division was once a calling card for the promotion over the course of the first few years, but has been under much criticism since then.
While the likes of The Hurt Syndicate, The Young Bucks and FTR have all been in their respective prominent roles, the division overall has lacked some direction.
Along with the men, the women’s division has become stacked with talent, making many fans believe that a women’s tag team division could be something introduced down the line.
Here are seven new AEW tag teams to potentially form.
7. Harley Cameron & Anna Jay
First teaming with each other alongside Saraya in 2024, Harley Cameron and Anna Jay are no strangers to one another.
Becoming closer after going to Coachella together, Harley and Anna have become friends and even aligned together against their common enemies of Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford.
While Jay is scheduled to face Bayne on the May 17 Beach Break edition of AEW Collision, it shouldn’t be long before fans see a tag team match between all four women involved in this storyline.
Cameron teaming with Anna Jay could bring out a new side in both women with their different personalities and styles combining to become a cohesive duo.
