With the recent signing of their new TV deal and exciting future on streaming platform HBO Max, 2025 is looking set to be big year for AEW.
Changes and additions will likely be expected also, with new free agent talents potentially making their arrival in the company over the next couple of months.
Here are eight potential new AEW signings coming soon.
8. Matt Cardona
On the December 5 edition of ROH TV on Honor Club, former GCW World Champion Matt Cardona made a surprise appearance to answer the challenge of Chris Jericho for the ROH World Title.
Despite Cardona making more money than he ever has on the independent scene, the former WWE star could still get a lucrative contract from a pro wrestling TV company.
With his experience on television and well established character crafted on the indies, the former Zack Ryder could become a key addition for either the AEW or ROH roster.
Cardona could fill a spot up and down the card on either brand, while further elevating himself as he done consistently since leaving WWE in 2020.
