At Globe Life Field on July 12, AEW is promoting its first ever stadium show on US soil — All In Texas.
The show is tracking to be a success for the company, with over 23,000 tickets distributed according to the latest count from WrestleTix.
Given that it’s the company’s flagship PPV of the year, there will undoubtedly be major storyline developments — including potential heel turns.
Here are five AEW stars who could turn heel during the course of this year’s supershow.
5. Kris Statlander
One individual where storyline seeds have certainly been planted for a heel turn is Kris Statlander.
In recent weeks on AEW programming, Statlander has had several interactions with the Death Riders — including a seemingly motivational exchange with Jon Moxley on Collision.
At All In Texas, the 29-year-old enters the Casino Gauntlet, having secured the coveted first position by pinning Willow Nightingale — who had been distracted by the Death Riders’ Wheeler Yuta and Marina Shafir.
In the Casino Gauntlet, could we once again see Statlander turning on Nightingale and going full heel alongside the Death Riders?
