There have been a number of stars who have made the move from AEW to WWE as of late, including Penta, Rey Fenix, Ricky Starks and Malakai Black.
With numerous others like Ethan Page, Shawn Spears and Lexis King winning championships, in addition to the obvious big hitters like Cody Rhodes, CM Punk and Jade Cargill, it’s become evident than an AEW to WWE move can be a road to success.
Here are seven more current AEW stars who could join WWE.
7. Chris Jericho
Chris Jericho has been with AEW since the very start and has never really had a bad word to say about the company.
However, until it happens, there is always going to be talk about him returning to WWE, even if it’s only for a Hall of Fame induction rather than one last run in the ring.
There’s no doubt that he’s one of the biggest names yet to be inducted, and given how long he’s spent with AEW now, the draw of seeing him back with WWE might be a pretty decent ticket seller and attention grabber with the idea of finding out what he’d have to say about the past few years.
His AEW contract is expected to be coming up in a few months, so let’s see how it plays out.
