AEW finds itself in an interesting situation closing out 2024 and heading into a new era in 2025.
The company will debut on the Max streaming service and have a set of big events scheduled in the first half of 2025 with AEW Grand Slam Australia and All In Texas.
All the title pictures in All Elite Wrestling could be completely different by the time they reach their big stadium show next July with several significant title changes expected.
Here are our predictions for the next holder of every AEW championship.
AEW Continental Championship – Will Ospreay
The ongoing AEW Continental Classic features 12 stars battling in the prestigious tournament to determine who will walk out of Worlds End with the Continental Championship.
While Kazuchika Okada is considered by many to be the best tournament wrestler, it is hard to imagine the former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion being able to successfully defend his gold in this grueling round-robin.
Kyle Fletcher has seemed like an early favorite with victories over Okada and The Beast Mortos, but his former best friend and mentor Will Ospreay should be the pick for this year’s tournament.
Despite having two wins in the NJPW Best of Super Juniors tournament, Ospreay never won the G1 Climax during his New Japan run. Winning the Continental Title will give Ospreay another championship to elevate after his work with the International gold, while Fletcher will be chasing.
