At WWE Elimination Chamber 2026, Raw and SmackDown General Managers Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis opened up the mystery crate that has been backstage on both shows over the past few weeks.

Once the box was opened, it was revealed that former AEW star Danhausen was inside the crate and came along with some dancers as well as new theme music.

Now that he is in WWE, All Elite Wrestling will be looking for a replacement to fill the void left by Danhausen despite being absent from the company for the past two years.

Here are seven potential AEW replacements for Danhausen.

7. Max Caster

There are not many AEW stars who have drawn laughter from the fans quite like Max Caster.

Whether it be as part of The Acclaimed or in his “Best Wrestler Alive” open challenge, Caster has been a comedy figure on the AEW roster.

While he has not always been consistently featured on AEW TV, Caster is someone who can always be called upon to add some levity to the program.

Caster replacing Danhausen can be the key comedy figure in All Elite Wrestling and potentially become a merchandise mover with the right presentation.
