The fastest possible route for Jon Moxley to be replaced as AEW World Champion would be via old foe Samoa Joe.
Coming up at AEW Beach Break on May 14, Jon Moxley will defend his AEW World Championship in a Steel Cage Match against Samoa Joe.
Samoa Joe could absolutely de-throne Jon Moxley at Beach Break to become the new AEW World Champion, but more likely, some sort of shenanigans could ensue to make the finish of this particular TV match end in a cliffhanger.
With a rematch that could occur at the upcoming AEW Double or Nothing on May 25 on pay-per-view – perhaps there would be a third man in the match as well…
