The AEW Revolution pay-per-view is coming up on Sunday, March 9 from Los Angeles, California.
AEW has been in the process of building momentum with its weekly shows, and will be hoping the pay-per-view can continue that positive trend.
Here are five changes for AEW Revolution 2025.
5. No Face Of The Revolution Ladder Match
In 2021 and 2022, AEW Revolution played host to the ‘Face of the Revolution’ ladder match, won by Scorpio Sky and Wardlow respectively.
In 2023, the match took place on the pre-Revolution episode of Dynamite instead of at the pay-per-view itself, won by Powerhouse Hobbs.
However, in 2024, there was no Face of the Revolution ladder match at all, and now in 2025, that’s once again the case.
In the pre-show media call, Tony Khan essentially said that he didn’t want to shoehorn it in if it didn’t fit in with what’s happening with everyone on the roster right now, so we again have no Face of the Revolution ladder match this time around.
