Last September, the Blackpool Combat Club in AEW morphed into The Death Riders as Jon Moxley turned heel on former partner Bryan Danielson.
Moxley’s refashioned faction of Claudio Castagnoli, PAC, Wheeler Yuta, and Marina Shafir has been a dominant presence on AEW programming ever since.
However, the group’s lineup has remained unchanged since its inception.
With Moxley heading into AEW’s biggest show of the year to defend his title against Hangman Page, he could look to add new backup to the unit – here are some potential new additions to The Death Riders.
5. Kris Statlander
On the June 21 edition of AEW Collision, Kris Statlander had a backstage encounter with Jon Moxley.
While venting about her position in the company, she was surprisingly met with words of encouragement from Moxley, leaving her visibly reflecting on what he said.
The 29-year-old’s on-screen frustration mirrors her recent lack of direction in AEW.
With this intriguing storyline tease, could we soon see Statlander join Moxley’s Death Riders faction?
