AEW President Tony Khan has a great deal of talent at his disposal, many of whom seem to be on the cusp of breaking through to the next level of their careers.

Looking at the current roster, Khan could push several different names that have what it takes to reach new heights moving forward.

From established talents to former champions, there is so much potential to be fulfilled in AEW right now.

Here are 10 AEW stars to be potentially pushed by Tony Khan.

10. Kyle Fletcher

Coming into 2026, Kyle Fletcher seemed like the next huge breakout star in All Elite Wrestling.

After dropping the gold at AEW Full Gear 2025, Fletcher kicked off 2026 by recapturing the TNT Title from Tommaso Ciampa back on the February 11 edition of Dynamite.

While he was riding a massive wave of momentum, “The Protostar” suffered a torn meniscus in a tag team match with Mark Davis against The Rascalz on the March 28 edition of AEW Collision.

Despite being on the sidelines with this injury, Fletcher still feels like a high priority for Tony Khan and should resume his push up the card when he returns sometime in 2026.

9. The Brawling Birds (Jamie Hayter & Alex Windsor)

Since forming their pairing at the start of 2026, The Brawling Birds have been building a strong case to be the best women’s tag team in AEW.

Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor have come together to bring their brand of hard hitting violence to everyone in their way.

Going undefeated in tag team action, Hayter and Windsor have proven themselves as a formidable pairing that can capture the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championships.

With AEW All In London 2026 on the horizon, The Brawling Birds feel like they are in line for a major push in time for the big event from Wembley Stadium.

8. Harley Cameron

After Babes of Wrath lost the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Titles to Divine Dominion at Revolution 2026, Willow Nightingale went on to start defending her TBS Championships, while Harley Cameron was left on her own and feeling alone.

Looking for a new lease on her career, Cameron went to her friend Kris Statlander to receive some training and form a new duo, but the former AEW Women’s World Champion turned down Harley and went on to start teaming with Hikaru Shida.

Cameron now finds herself aligned with Mina Shirakawa set to face off with Shida and Statlander on the May 6 episode of AEW Dynamite and Collision.

While she is currently lost in what direction she will go, Cameron might be the next singles star who can receive a push into becoming a contender for gold once again.

7. The Rascalz (Dezmond Xavier, Zachary Wentz & Myron Reed)

Signing with All Elite Wrestling in January, The Rascalz have become a consistent highlight of the company’s television.

Whether it be in tag team, trios or multi-man action, Dezmond Xavier, Zachary Wentz and Myron Reed have been impressing the fans week-after-week.

While they have had their opportunities at championship gold, The Rascalz have come up short against FTR for the AEW World Tag Team Championships.

Whether it be the tag titles or the AEW World Trios Championships, The Rascalz should be in line for a big time win that puts them front and center in a major way sooner rather than later.

6. Andrade El Idolo

Returning to AEW in January, Andrade El Idolo has joined the Don Callis Family and become a prominent star in the company.

“The Real Latino Man” has picked up significant victories over the likes of Kenny Omega and Swerve Strickland since the start of the year.

Despite beating two former AEW World Champions, El Idolo has not been able to earn himself a shot at the top prize in All Elite Wrestling.

Andrade eventually getting his long awaited opportunity at the AEW World Title has been built up well since his return to the company and could see a major payoff before too long.

5. Konosuke Takeshita

From one Don Callis Family member to another, Konosuke Takeshita has been someone that many fans have been wanting to see get a push in the promotion.

“The Alpha” has held gold in the company in the past as a former AEW International Champion and is currently the NJPW World TV Champion as well.

However, it has always felt like Takeshita has never fully gotten a big push in All Elite Wrestling throughout his four-year run with the company.

With his showdown with Kazuchika Okada set for AEW Double Or Nothing 2026, this bout could see Takeshita finally get that signature win that puts him at the main event level moving forward.

4. Bandido

Bandido currently holds the Ring of Honor World Champion and is a former AEW World Tag Team Champion.

To start 2026, “The Most Wanted” challenged MJF for the AEW World Championship at the Maximum Carnage special of Dynamite.

While he came up short, Bandido has now found himself in the top mix with other main event level talent in AEW.

Bandido getting a bigger push would be fitting after proving himself to be one of the best in-ring performers in the entire company right now.

3. Brody King

Speaking of Bandido, Brody King has also received a significant elevation throughout 2026 so far.

King picked up arguably one of the biggest wins of his career when he defeated MJF in an AEW World Title Eliminator Match in February.

Earning himself a shot at the gold, Brody came up short in a rematch against MJF at the AEW Grand Slam Australia 2026 event.

To finally propel him to top star status, Brody King could be in line for a major push that places him among the likes of Darby Allin, Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay.

2. Speedball Mike Bailey

Someone else who has been positioned on a higher level as of late is Speedball Mike Bailey.

One half of JetSpeed, Bailey has established himself as one of the most exciting in-ring competitors on the AEW roster.

While he has found success alongside Kevin Knight, Bailey is an accomplished singles star who should win some gold on his own before long.

Whether it be the TNT, Continental or International Championship, Speedball feels on the cusp of becoming a singles titleholder in the near future.

1. Kevin Knight

There is no one on the AEW roster who has been on a bigger wave of momentum than Kevin Knight.

At AEW Dynasty 2026, Knight won the Casino Gauntlet to become the new TNT Champion. Then on the April 29 edition of Dynamite, “The Jet” picked up one of the biggest victories of his career when he beat MJF to retain the gold.

Now, Knight is set to challenge Darby Allin for the AEW World Title on the May 6 episode of Dynamite and Collision.

Knight eventually being elevated to a main event level permanently has felt like something that Tony Khan wants to accomplish and place him among the biggest stars on the roster today.
