AEW Stars Removed From Forbidden Door 2025 AEW

On Sunday, August 24, AEW will return to London, England at the O2 Arena for their Forbidden Door 2025 pay-per-view.

Despite the company’s major shows typically featuring between eight and nine matches on the main card, there are a limited number of spots for shows like AEW Forbidden Door 2025, which will also feature stars from other promotions.

Over the past few weeks, talent have been losing out on opportunities to compete in front of a huge crowd in the U.K., while others might not be medically cleared to compete on August 24.

Here are seven AEW stars potentially set to miss out on Forbidden Door 2025.

7. Will Ospreay

At AEW All In Texas 2025, Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland defeated The Young Bucks. Later in the show, Ospreay attempted to help Hangman Adam Page against Jon Moxley, but The Death Riders took him out instead.

After getting a chair stomped on his head, Ospreay announced that he suffered a neck injury that should see him sidelined for a few weeks, but he planned on making his return at Forbidden Door 2025.

Considering the nature of neck injuries, his absence is not the easiest to predict and could see Ospreay being out of action a little while longer than he originally projected.

While it would be heartbreaking to see the U.K. superstar not perform on the card, fans want to see Ospreay continue to deliver classics for the next few years than just for one night, even if it means he has to spend more time on the sidelines now.
