AEW/WWE
One of the biggest news stories of the year so far has been the departure of Powerhouse Hobbs from All Elite Wrestling and his potential signing with WWE.
Joining the likes of Jade Cargill, Ricky Saints and Penta, Hobbs will look to continue his success from AEW in his new home and establish himself on the WWE roster.
Looking at the current crop of talent in AEW, there are several names who used to be with WWE who could potentially re-sign in the near future when their deals expire down the line.
Here are seven AEW stars to potentially re-sign with WWE.
7. Billy Gunn

When All Elite Wrestling first started in 2019, Billy Gunn was one of the first signings to the company as a backstage coach and in-ring competitor.
During the past six years, Gunn has introduced the AEW audience to his sons Colten and Austin Gunn as well as guided The Acclaimed to championship gold.
More recently, Gunn has been written off of AEW television and has expressed his frustrations on the current state of the company.
This has led many to believe that Gunn will make his return to WWE where he could join his fellow D-Generation X stablemates Triple H, Shawn Michaels and Road Dogg in backstage positions for the company in the months to come.
