The AEW tag team division has been struggling a bit as of late with not many teams carrying much momentum.
While The Hurt Syndicate are thriving as the AEW World Tag Team Champions, there are various duos who are at a crossroads on where they are heading next.
From long time pairings to recent tandems who have met their logical end, All Elite Wrestling could see several duos going their separate ways in the weeks and months to come.
Here are six AEW tag teams potentially splitting up.
6. Top Flight (Dante & Darius Martin)
On the May 14 Beach Break edition of AEW Dynamite, The Hurt Syndicate defeated Top Flight in dominating fashion.
This loss followed MJF beating down both Dante and Darius Martin the week prior, proving he could “hurt people” to MVP, Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin.
After these setbacks, it feels like Top Flight have reached a point of no return and should think about making some changes.
Deciding to go their separate ways, Dante Martin could get back to his rise in the singles ranks we saw several years prior, while Darius could try his hand at some singles action himself as well.
