5. Kenny Omega Appearance
According to The Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer, WrestleDream was originally set to feature the return of The Golden Lovers tag team.
This would have seen Kenny Omega and Kota Ibushi reunite for their first straight tag team match since 2018, taking on two members of the Don Callis Family.
Due to Ibushi’s unfortunate injury, the match had to be scrapped = but that doesn’t necessarily mean Omega won’t appear.
On the October 15 edition of Dynamite, Omega was involved in an angle featuring his former partners, The Young Bucks, alongside Jack Perry and Luchasaurus, suggesting he could get involved in their tag team match at WrestleDream in some capacity.
