WWE
In a recent interview with Tokyo Sports, AJ Styles revealed he intends on retiring from in-ring competition in the next year.
“The Phenomenal One” has established himself as one of the best in-ring performers of the past decade in the company.
With a potential retirement coming in the future, Styles should be positioned for some intriguing plans to close his run with the company.
Here are eight potential AJ Styles WWE retirement plans.
8) Facing Former WWE Rivals

After debuting in 2016, AJ Styles has faced a who’s who of WWE’s top stars and legends, putting on some of the most spectacular matches over that time.
From John Cena and Dean Ambrose to Daniel Bryan and The Undertaker, Styles has left his mark with some captivating feuds over the past decade.
If Styles is retiring, it would make sense for WWE to follow a similar formula of the John Cena retirement tour and have the legend face some of his all-time great rivals.
Whether it be another battle with Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship or a clash with Roman Reigns for the first time in nine years, Styles could run it back and deliver some thrilling in-ring encounters to finish up his WWE run.
