WWE stars John Cena and Goldberg making their retirement match goals clear has gotten fans talking about Batista.

While the six-time world champion has gone on to capture major roles in Hollywood since departing WWE – there could still be one more match for The Animal.

Here are six potential final WWE opponents for Batista.

6. The Rock

If Batista wants to wrestle a last match, the storyline motivation doesn’t have to be all that deep.

Since he has commented in the past that he did feel like last match against Triple H at WrestleMania 35 was a fitting finale for his career, if he were to return to the ring, it would likely be more for fun than legacy.

Since The Rock has been known to get back into in-ring action on recent occasion, this match would have Hollywood blockbuster written all over it – which is perhaps reason enough.

Certainly with The Rock’s ‘Final Boss’ heel persona, there could be some way for this pair to have a negative interaction that turned into a massive battle between two of WWE’s biggest mainstream success stories.
