Over the past few weeks, WWE has been airing a series of vignettes to tease the return of Big Cass to the company.

With these vignettes focused on the struggles he underwent in his first stint with the promotion, Cass seems poised to make his return solo instead of alongside his former tag team partner Enzo Amore.

After rumors of the tag team coming back into play, it should be interesting how the company decides to present Cass as a singles star upon his comeback on the August 3 edition of WWE Raw.

Here are seven potential Big Cass solo WWE return plans.

7. Becoming the new bodyguard for Ricky Saints

During his time with All Elite Wrestling, Big Cass had quite a few notable partnerships with various stars on the roster.

One of his most successful pairings in the company had to have been teaming with Ricky Saints.

Despite not having a lengthy run together, Cass and Saints were able to capture the AEW World Tag Team Championships from FTR in 2023.

Now that they are back in the same company, Cass could be just what Ricky needs right now to cement himself as a future star in the company.

6. Helping Danhausen & Joe Hendry in their feud with The Judgment Day

Prior to the series of vignettes teasing his return, many fans believed Big Cass would make his WWE return in a different way.

Over the past several weeks, Danhausen has been seen doing experiments in backstage segments with a large individual laying underneath a white cover on a gurney.

While most fans believed this to be Baron Corbin, others thought that Big Cass may be the former WWE star being brought back to life by Danhausen.

With his recent run-ins with The Judgment Day, both Danhausen and his new friend Joe Hendry could get some much needed assistance in their rivalry with Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh from Big Cass upon his return.

5. Go after the WWE Intercontinental Championship

During his entire first stint with WWE, Big Cass was unable to capture championship gold, whether it be singles or tag team titles.

Looking to redeem his first run, Cass could immediately set his sights on the WWE Intercontinental Championship.

Since Penta won the title in March, the IC Title picture has been the most competitive it has been in years.

Cass going after the Intercontinental Championship could see him use his size to have an advantage over Penta or Chad Gable sooner rather than later.

4. Becoming the latest enemy of The Bloodline

Following his World Heavyweight Championship win at WrestleMania 42, Roman Reigns reunited with The Usos to reform The Bloodline.

After beating him in a Tribal Combat at WWE Clash In Italy 2026, Reigns also added Jacob Fatu as his new enforcer in The Bloodline.

It now feels that anyone on the WWE Raw roster has become a rival and someone standing in the way of The Bloodline.

Big Cass can immediately thrust himself into the spotlight on Monday nights by becoming the latest enemy of Roman Reigns and company moving forward.

3. Joining The Vision

In The Bloodline’s absence, there have been new stables who have emerged to take control over WWE.

On WWE Raw, The Vision has been running roughshod over anyone and everyone put in front of them over the past year.

However, The Vision has recently undergone some struggles in the form of injuries to Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed and Logan Paul in 2026 already.

Needing an extra boost to their unit after Paul Heyman seemingly abandoned them, Big Cass could give them what they need and add some significant size to The Vision.

2. Laying out Seth Rollins

At WWE SummerSlam 2026, Seth Rollins is set to challenge Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship.

“The Visionary” now finds himself on the cusp of winning back the title that he never lost last year.

However, Rollins losing to Reigns could open the door for a returning Big Cass to make a statement upon his return to the company.

Cass returning and immediately taking out Rollins on the August 3 Monday Night Raw would be a great way to show that he will be a key player in this second run in WWE compared to his last stint.

1. Challenging Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship

While laying out Seth Rollins would be one way to put his name in the main event mix on WWE Raw, there is one other way that might be even more effective.

Cass is someone who is no stranger to Roman Reigns from his first run with the company, having spent time with “The OTC” during his time in WWE developmental.

Now all these years later, Cass could remind Reigns just who he is by challenging him for the World Heavyweight Championship.

Wanting to etch his name next to the best in the company, Cass would become a huge threat to Roman’s reign at the top and could drastically alter the entire landscape of WWE Raw moving forward.
