Big Plans For WWE Night Of Champions 2023

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship and/or NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship – Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez (WWE) vs. Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn (NXT)

The Women’s Championships in WWE are currently in an absolutely mysterious state.

Firstly we have the two women’s singles matches, which we will get to later, but we also have the Women’s Tag Team Championship.

Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez are the champions, with them both being drafted to Raw as part of the WWE Draft.

However, they are able to float between the brands due to having the titles, including a match against Bayley and Dakota Kai this Friday on SmackDown.

BUT, there is also the wrinkle of Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn, who were drafted to SmackDown, and currently hold the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship.

There aren’t a lot of heel women’s duos that Liv and Raquel haven’t faced, so a clash with the new call ups seems very likely, it’s just a matter of which title(s) will be on the line.

Alba and Isla said they would be defending on all three brands when they were drafted, we’ll have to wait and see.
