You may have heard of Chris Benoit (if not I’ll save you a sad Google search, he was a bad man as well as a Canadian) but that doesn’t mean WWE wants to talk about him so we see some interesting edits to lessen his impact.

Here’s a comparison of the original Royal Rumble 2001 poster and the new one WWE uses.

WWE decided the best way to remove him from the image was to take Farooq’s head from the back row and stick it over Benoit’s, and then have the Dan Severn-looking demon in the top-right replace Farooq. So instead of people talking about Benoit they’re e-mailing WWE and asking about the terrifying spectre and his equally-scary clone so job done. guys.
