Botches Of The Week

Botches Of The Week

1. Who Who Who? You Don’t Know It

A funny thing happened on Raw. No it wasn’t ”record low ratings”, it was Zack Ryder referencing last week’s typo where he was re-named Zack. Oh wait no that’s Heavy Machinery, Ryder was re-named Zach Ryder.

So Zack brought this up with fellow loser Curt Hawkins in a rare moment of realisation. Set up for a storyline or proof Ryder reads the internet? CALL THE WCW HOTLINE NOW.

2. Fenix Nights

Lucha Libre megastar Fenix loves diving out of the ring with reckless abandon but even this took the biscuit.

Fair play to Frankie Kazarian for keeping himself professional as the commentators.

3. SMASH (ahhhhh)

Impact and Canadian Indie SMASH held an event this past weekend which included a Tag Team Tables match between Halal Beefcake and The Pillars. Even though the name SMASH is in the name of the promotion, the tables did anything but.

Eventually the tables learned to work after being sent to OVW for a few months and the match was won by Halal.

4. OK bear with me here

WWE aired When World’s Collide across two platforms, YouTube and the Network. That’s the bit that makes sense.

They aired the opening rounds and all-but-one of the Quarter Finals on YouTube then aired the rest on the Network eight hours later.

But on the Network they aired the Battle Royal to decide the Quarter Finals…that had already aired. So God knows why they did it in that way unless Tarantino was helping put it together.
