After dropping the Undisputed WWE Championship to Drew McIntyre, there is an unknown path ahead for Cody Rhodes.

With brand new stars from NXT that could pop up to strike, or rehashing old rivalries from the past, there could be some interesting plans coming soon for Cody that have nothing to do with chasing gold.

Here are six plans for Cody Rhodes in WWE that don’t involve chasing a title for the next several months.

6. Targeted By Trick Williams

One potential fresh feud for Cody Rhodes that doesn’t involve a title could be Trick Williams.

With Trick Williams showing that he is unafraid to take on veterans on the SmackDown roster, perhaps he will be headed for a collision course with Rhodes.

Already interacting backstage on SmackDown with Cody Rhodes and clearly unafraid of him, it could be an emboldened Trick who targets the recently dethroned Rhodes.

With the seeds for a future feud already planted, it could be that this rivalry ends up becoming a big one on the road to WrestleMania 42.
