At the November 1 edition of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, Cody Rhodes defeated Drew McIntyre to retain the Undisputed WWE Championship.

After this victory, ‘The American Nightmare’ may be facing a brand new challenger from the Friday Night SmackDown roster.

Considering Rhodes has shown his willingness to win by any means necessary, it should be interesting to see who’ll be next to challenge him at the upcoming WWE Survivor Series 2025 premium live event.

Here are seven potential opponents for Cody Rhodes at WWE Survivor Series 2025.

7. Randy Orton

Over the past two years, it has felt like WWE has been setting up for a huge title showdown between Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes.

At WWE Night of Champions 2025, Rhodes defeated Orton to win the King of the Ring tournament and went on to defeat John Cena to win the Undisputed WWE Championship at SummerSlam 2025.

After that defeat to his friend, Orton showed his frustration with the loss and even teased turning on ‘The American Nightmare.’

Having Orton return and reveal himself as Jacob Fatu’s attacker could set the stage for ‘The Legend Killer’ to challenge Rhodes for the title at WWE Survivor Series 2025.
