Since then, Danhausen has reached unprecedented levels of popularity where he has crossed over to the mainstream, appearing on ESPN as much as any other WWE star.
With WWE SummerSlam 2026 on the horizon, there could be some interesting ways to debut Danhausen at one of the biggest major shows of the year.

6. Teaming With The Miz, Kit Wilson & Matt Cardona Against Judgment Day & Los Garza
Over the past few weeks, Danhausen has been undergoing some experiments in a series of backstage segments.
These experiments led to The Miz, Kit Wilson and Matt Cardona all electrocuting themselves. Thanks to this shock, Miz, Kit and Cardona have all become allies to Danhausen.
“The Very Nice, Very Evil” star could bring his gang of electrocuted stars to go at it with all of his enemies in a huge multi-man tag at WWE SummerSlam 2026.
Having Danhausen lead The Miz, Wilson and Cardona in an eight-man tag against Judgment Day and Los Garza would make for a compelling match on the SummerSlam 2026 card.
5. Teaming With Matt Cardona Against The Miz & Kit Wilson
After being electrocuted by one of Danhausen’s experiments, Matt Cardona has become the main ally for “The Very Nice, Very Evil” star.
Fighting alongside Danhausen, Cardona has been able to pick up a win in tag team action against Los Garza.
Whenever The Miz and Kit Wilson find their way out of their current electrocuted state, they will be looking for revenge on Danhausen sooner rather than later.
Danhausen teaming with Cardona to take on Miz and Kit could bring this story to a logical ending come WWE SummerSlam 2026.
4. Helping IYO SKY Beat Liv Morgan For WWE Women’s World Championship
At WWE Night of Champions 2026, IYO SKY defeated Liv Morgan to win the Queen of the Ring Finals.
This win came after Morgan confronted Danhausen and was cursed as a result.
Since then, Danhausen has become public enemy number one for The Judgment Day and the group have made his life a living hell.
Danhausen helping IYO beat Liv to win the WWE Women’s World Championship would show the power of his curses and see him take all the gold from The Judgment Day moving forward.
3. Becoming Special Guest Host For WWE SummerSlam 2026
Danhausen has been mostly utilized within WWE since his debut in some non-wrestling roles.
The former AEW star has used his personality and charisma to create a connection with the WWE audience unlike any other name on the roster.
After seeing him break out in a major way in recent months, Danhausen could be given the opportunity to be a special guest host for the next huge premium live event for the company.
Naming Danhausen the special guest host for WWE SummerSlam 2026 will give him the chance to interact with different stars and bring some levity to the two-night major show in Minneapolis.
2. Challenge Dominik Mysterio For AAA Mega Championship
Ahead of his King of the Ring Semifinals match against Oba Femi, Dominik Mysterio and Judgment Day came to Danhausen to get his help with “The Ruler.”
After paying him money to curse Femi, Danhausen chose to not help “Dirty Dom,” leading to his loss in the tournament.
Over the past few weeks, Judgment Day have stolen Danhausen’s custom-made Knicks jersey and set the stage for a singles match with JD McDonagh battling Danhausen at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on July 18.
Following a win over McDonagh, Danhausen could find himself in contention for his first singles title since signing with WWE against Mysterio for the AAA Mega Championship at SummerSlam on August 1 or 2.
1. Teaming With A New York Knicks Player To Face Judgment Day’s Dominik Mysterio & JD McDonagh
The July 18 edition of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event will take place from Madison Square Garden in New York City.
The promotion for this show has been centered on Danhausen’s connection to the 2026 NBA Champion New York Knicks and his rivalry with The Judgment Day.
Coming off the heels of SNME, which Jalen Brunson has been confirmed to be appearing at, it might set the groundwork for a Knicks player to team with Danhausen to face Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh.
Considering the ticket sales for WWE SummerSlam 2026 has been struggling, the company might want some celebrity involvement and see Danhausen team with Jalen Brunson, or another Knicks player to face off with The Judgment Day in a tag team showdown.
