After making a dramatic debut at WWE Elimination Chamber 2026, fans are wondering what might be in store for Danhausen at WrestleMania 42.

Able to forge brand new rivalries that range from absolute silliness to displays of actual technical mastery in the end, Danhausen could find himself making a huge impact in his first ever WrestleMania this April in Las Vegas.

Here are seven potential WWE WrestleMania 42 opponents for Danhausen. 

7. Rusev

Although briefly, Rusev did interact with the mystery box backstage when it was on WWE Raw in his pursuit of a meeting with Adam Pearce.

Although Rusev seemingly hasn’t been taken seriously by the WWE Raw GM, perhaps to make a statement about his frustrations with booking, Rusev could be poised to take it out on Danhausen.

A character that could be delightfully unamused by Danhausen’s antics, Rusev could find himself chasing Danhausen throughout the road to WrestleMania only to finally end up in a match with him.

While Danhausen would succeed at escaping Rusev, by the time they’d go one-on-one at WrestleMania 42, he could show off that he does in fact have solid in-ring abilities – even if he ultimately falls to Rusev in the end, being remotely competitive would be a big moment for the brand new star.
