On the February 2 edition of Monday Night Raw, WWE Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio made his return to the company for the first time in two months after suffering a shoulder injury.

Coming back from injury, Mysterio may be in line for a major IC Title match on the WrestleMania 42 card.

Looking at the WWE roster, there are several stars who could be positioned to face “Dirty Dom” for the IC Title at “The Show of Shows.”

Here are eight potential Dominik Mysterio WWE WrestleMania 42 opponents.

8. Penta

Making his WWE debut in January 2025, Penta quickly made a name for himself on Monday Night Raw.

It didn’t take long for the former AEW World Tag Team Champion to be in pursuit of the WWE Intercontinental Championship, including competing in a four-way match for the gold at WrestleMania 41 last year.

After several failed attempts, Penta has been trying to regain some momentum with wins over the past few weeks.

Penta getting one last shot at the IC Title against Dominik Mysterio could be a very intriguing battle between the two at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas.
