With a big title change on the latest episode of WWE SmackDown, Drew McIntyre will be in need of a brand new opponent for WrestleMania 42.

After losing the match against Cody Rhodes on the March 6 edition of SmackDown – meaning the WWE Title match at Mania is now Rhodes defending against Randy Orton – Drew McIntyre still has plenty of enemies across both Raw and SmackDown who may be lining up to fight.

Here are six potential WrestleMania 42 plans for Drew McIntyre after he lost the Undisputed WWE Championship on SmackDown.

6. Sin City Street Fight against Jacob Fatu

While his fiery feud continues with Jacob Fatu, it could be the perfect opportunity for the pair to up the ante on last year’s bout between McIntyre and Damian Priest.

Able to bring in a new level of violence at WrestleMania 42, the match could stand alone as a much more vicious display amongst the weekend of pageantry.

Bringing in weapons or even having the bout have more of an impromptu feel by brawling all over Allegiant Stadium or even spilling out into the literal street, WWE may have a unique opportunity to showcase a grittier edge with the two popular stars going head to head.
