AEW currently has several champions who are enjoying lengthy runs with their titles at the moment, but change could soon be on the horizon.
Looking at the current landscape, there are competitors who have taken aim for championship gold and just might be the ones to dethrone these current champions in the weeks and months to come.
Here are our predictions for the next holder for every AEW championship.
AEW Women’s World Championship – Jamie Hayter
On the April 23 edition of AEW Dynamite, Jamie Hayter defeated Kris Statlander to advance to the Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament Finals.
With Hayter set to face Mercedes Mone in the finals at AEW Double Or Nothing, the winner will move on to challenge for the AEW Women’s World Championship at All In Texas this July.
While many fans expect Mone to get the win, Hayter may have the better story to tell due to her history with the current champion, Timeless Toni Storm.
This title bout at AEW All In Texas should see Hayter reclaim her spot at the top of the women’s division by taking down the woman responsible for her lengthy absence.
