13. Raw Tag Team Championship- The Revival (c) vs. The Usos
Whilst The Usos walked out of MetLife Stadium with their Smackdown Tag Team Championships, they lost their belts to the Hardy Boyz just two nights later on Smackdown Live. Some have speculated that this could spell the end for The Usos’ time on Smackdown Live, with a potential move to the red brand on the horizon.
The Revival have been let down in the Raw tag division. As champions, they feuded with Chad Gable and Bobby Roode, the make-shift team of Aleister Black and Ricochet, and lastly Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder who defeated the “top guys” for their titles. The Usos should move over to Raw in the Superstar Shake-Up next week, giving The Revival an exciting fresh team to face off with down the line.
The prospect of a Usos vs. Revival match is mouth-watering, with the four guys immensely talented when it comes to producing a quality in-ring product, and ensuring their bouts are packed with story. The Revival, pending they don’t leave for AEW when their current deals are up, should reclaim the Raw Tag Team Championships from Hawkins and Ryder and go on a tear, beginning a feud with The Usos around Royal Rumble and culminating with a classic at the “show of shows”.
