Bully Ray vs. Flip Gordon – I Quit Match

If you have been watching ROH regularly over the last few months, this is a rivalry that has been heated and brutal.  This mirrors a similar Tommy Dreamer storyline from back in ECW where Dreamer was trying to prove he’s hardcore.  Gordon is trying to prove he has what it takes to take out the veteran Bully Ray.

The 10 count of kendo stick shots to Flip Gordon was hard to watch, but Gordon took it like a champ.  Bully Ray has been taking out all the young kids who have it “too easy” in the business and haven’t paid their dues.  This feud has really helped Flip develop a character beyond his flipping ability and he’s becoming the underdog who doesn’t quit.  Gordon appears to be staying with ROH for the foreseeable future, and as a result, Gordon should be in store for a big push in 2019.

The match is an I Quit Match and so it should be filled with hardcore spots and maybe even a little blood.  I expect Gordon to get the win and establish himself as part of the future of ROH.
