Final WWE Stars Added To Intercontinental Title WrestleMania 42 Ladder Match
With the field currently made up of the Intercontinental Champion Penta taking on Je’Von Evans, Dragon Lee, JD McDonagh, Rusev and Rey Mysterio.
Marking a six-man match, there could definitely be room for another addition.
Here are 6 final stars that could be added to the Intercontinental Championship match at WrestleMania 42.
6. El Grande Americano

El Grande Americano has become one of the biggest babyfaces in AAA
One remarkable star from the WWE roster who doesn’t yet have a spot on the WrestleMania 42 card is shockingly, El Grande Americano.
Despite the ability to host a mask vs. mask match between El Grande Americano and Original El Grande Americano at the event, no such match has come to be.
However, after having a truly standout year and maximizing the opportunity presented by Chad Gable’s injury to make his mark on the masked character, El Grande Americano could be a welcome addition to the match.
Bringing along plenty of shenanigans and hijinks in the form of his trusted duo of Rayo and Bravo Americano, there could be an infusion of fun into the IC Title ladder match at WrestleMania 42.
5. Royce Keys
Potentially sneaking into the WrestleMania 42 Intercontinental Championship ladder match could be exciting new WWE star, Royce Keys.
With the former Powerhouse Hobbs in AEW no stranger to big moments despite his relatively short time in front of WWE audiences so far, he could be a solid addition.
However, Keys did just make an in-ring debut on the April 10 edition of SmackDown where he was successful in a match against Berto.
Making for a fun surprise to see a flip in his brand, he could end up making a big moment at WrestleMania 42 if he were to enter the ladder match.
4. LA Knight

LA Knight will team with The Usos against The Vision and IShowSpeed in the opening match of WrestleMania 42
Although seemingly the least likely on the list, there is definitely a case to be made why LA Knight could be a good addition to the current IC title ladder match.
With many of the other top stars from WWE Raw already accounted for in the IC title ladder match, fan favorite LA Knight could be a fun last minute addition.
While LA Knight is already in action on Saturday night’s WrestleMania 42 card, perhaps he could make a surprise on ESPN for night two.
With two matches set for the first hour of action that will air on ESPN, the Intercontinental Championship ladder match might add some more star power with the fan favorite.
3. El Hijo del Vikingo
A potential exciting addition to the Intercontinental Championship ladder match at WrestleMania 42 might be AAA star El Hijo del Vikingo.
On caveat to Vikingo ending up on the WrestleMania 42 card could be that he has already taken a could be recent shot at Penta for the title.
Facing Penta already in AAA on Fox’s March 11 airing, El Hijo del Vikingo came close to besting Penta and claiming a spot at WrestleMania 42.
With the ability to bring in AAA action to Las Vegas and potentially even bringing along Mini Vikingo and even Omos with him as his quest for WWE gold is certainly not over.
2. Kofi Kingston

Kofi Kingston has been looking to recruit Je’von Evans into the New Day in recent weeks
One name that is currently not set for a bout on the WrestleMania 42 card is longtime veteran favorite, Kofi Kingston.
Despite his heel turn alongside New Day’s Xavier Woods, Kingston remains a legitimate threat to any singles title in WWE.
With Woods out of action due to injury coupled with no WWE Tag Team title bouts set for the WrestleMania 42 thus far, Kingston could be an amazing addition to the IC title bout.
Bringing his frustrations to air regarding his lack of opportunities in Las Vegas, Kingston would be a great spoiler to be thrown into the bout in the final week ahead of the event.
1. Bron Breakker
Certainly set for big storylines when he does make his eventual return to in-ring action, some fans remain hopeful that Bron Breakker could be returning in Las Vegas.
Potentially making a shock return on Saturday, there could be a very late addition to the bout if Bron Breakker was back into competition.
Perhaps reclaiming a title immediately while he continues to chase the World Championship down the line, Breakker could be the perfect last minute addition to shake-up the match.
Stoking the fires of new rivalries on the horizon with some of the top next generation talent in the match like Je’Von Evans, Breakker may be looking to assert his continued dominance on WWE Raw.
