Former AEW Champions To Join WWE AEW/WWE

Over the past two years, there have been a variety of former AEW stars who have made the jump to WWE.

From Penta and Rey Fenix to Ricky Saints and Royce Keys, former AEW champions have made WWE their new home to varying degrees of success.

Looking at the current AEW roster, there could be even more former champions who make that same transition over the next year or two.

Here are eight former AEW champions to potentially join WWE.

8. Chris Jericho

Over the past year, Chris Jericho has been in the headlines consistently in regards to different updates on his pro wrestling future.

Back in April 2025, Jericho took a hiatus that has seen him absent from AEW television for nearly a full year.

While recent reports indicate that his deal has been frozen, it was revealed that Jericho did not have that much time left on his AEW contract and had considerable interest from WWE for a comeback.

Making a return to his former home, Jericho heading back to WWE feels inevitable at this point and might happen before too long.
