Over the course of the past few years, there have been various former AEW stars who have held championship gold make their way over to WWE.
From former TNT Champion Cody Rhodes and former TBS Champion Jade Cargill, to former AEW World Champion CM Punk, these stars have come over to WWE in prominent roles.
In the past 12 months, the company has opened their doors to Ricky Saints, Penta and Rey Fenix after lengthy stints in All Elite Wrestling.
Looking at the current landscape of both promotions, here are seven former AEW champions to potentially sign with WWE.
7. Saraya (Paige)
Following her departure from All Elite Wrestling in March, many fans believed that Saraya could make her way back into the fold for WWE.
Admitting she is open to making a return, Saraya clearly desires a second run with the promotion in some capacity.
The former AEW Women’s World Champion was able to provide some advice to younger stars in Tony Khan’s promotion over the course of her three year stint.
Reverting back to her Paige persona, it feels like the former AEW star still has more to offer and could provide a boost in star power for the WWE women’s division if she is cleared to compete in the company again.
