AEW
AEW Dynasty 2026 is shaping up to be another exciting pay-per-view from All Elite Wrestling with some thrilling in-ring action on tap.
This Sunday’s show could also feature a few former AEW stars making their way back to the promotion in an impactful way.
Whether it be by challenging a reigning champion or aligning with another established talent, there are a multitude of different ways AEW could bring back former stars into the company at the Dynasty 2026 event.
Here are seven former AEW stars to potentially return at AEW Dynasty 2026.
7. Alan Angels

Alan Angels competed in TNA Wrestling following his departure from AEW
At the April 6 Ring of Honor TV tapings, former AEW star Alan Angels made his return to compete in ROH.
The former Dark Order member is someone who left All Elite Wrestling in 2022 and has since made his name in several different promotions.
After a brief stint in TNA Wrestling, Angels has become one of the most reliable and dependable in-ring performers on the independent scene today.
Following this appearance on ROH, it feels like Angels could make his way back to AEW and make a bigger impact on the company following his return at Dynasty 2026.
6. Marko Stunt
Over in Game Changer Wrestling, former AEW star Marko Stunt has recently made his return to the independent promotion.
In what seemed like a retirement speech, Stunt was attacked by KJ Orso and Sam Stackhouse to set up a showdown that took place at the recent GCW Maniac event.
At that same show, Stackhouse and Orso jumped Stunt until current AEW National Champion Jack Perry made the save and reunited with his former tag team partner.
Now that he will team with Perry against Stackhouse and Orso at the upcoming GCW Joey Janela’s Spring Break X event during WrestleMania 42 weekend, Stunt could make his way back to All Elite Wrestling where the entire Jurassic Express can be back together again.
5. Arn Anderson

Arn Anderson appeared at WWE SummerSlam 2024 to give a pep talk to Cody Rhodes
During the early days of All Elite Wrestling, Arn Anderson made his debut as the coach of Cody Rhodes and The Nightmare Family.
“The Enforcer” was not only an on-screen coach, but he was also used behind the scenes in helping different talent backstage.
In May 2024, Anderson’s AEW contract expired and saw him leave the promotion. Arn would eventually make a brief appearance on WWE programming when he had a backstage segment with Cody Rhodes.
Anderson re-signing with AEW and returning at Dynasty 2026 could see him recruit a new star to be a coach for moving forward.
4. Joey Janela
Joey Janela was one of the noteworthy first signings for All Elite Wrestling when the company was created in 2019.
For the next three years, Janela made his mark with some significant matches against the likes of Jon Moxley and Kenny Omega.
“The Bad Boy” left AEW in 2022 and has since returned to the independent scene where he reestablished himself as a top star for GCW.
With his creativity and experience, AEW would be hard-pressed to find someone as versatile and multi-facet in his talents as Janela to bring back into the fold for the Dynasty 2026 pay-per-view.
3. Priscilla Kelly

Priscilla Kelly, who competed in the Casino Battle Royale at AEW All Out 2019, is engaged to AEW’s Zachary Wentz
With just a handful of appearances in 2019 and 2020, Priscilla Kelly was someone that many fans believed would fit well with All Elite Wrestling.
However, Kelly went on to sign with WWE and became Gigi Dolin where she worked there for the next four years.
After two reigns as the NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion and a member of Toxic Attraction, Kelly was released by WWE in May 2025 and has since hit the ground running back on the indies.
Considering her successful run back on the independent scene and her fiancee Zachary Wentz of The Rascalz back with the promotion, PK could finally make her way to AEW full-time following her arrival at the Dynasty 2026 show.
2. The Good Brothers (Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows)

Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson joined their fellow Bullet Club alumni as part of the ‘Super Elite’ in 2021
Another pair of stars who made multiple appearances with AEW without officially signing with the company are The Good Brothers.
Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows have established themselves as one of the most decorated duos in the business today.
Winning gold in WWE, NJPW and TNA Wrestling, The Good Brothers have been performing for multiple promotions since their release from WWE in February 2025.
With their relationship with The Elite and past experience in the company, it would make sense for Gallows and Anderson to sign with All Elite Wrestling, making their official return at AEW Dynasty 2026 in Vancouver.
1. Saraya
Back in March 2025, Saraya announced her release from All Elite Wrestling after a three-year stint with the promotion.
The former AEW Women’s World Champion looked poised to make her return to WWE, but this has not happened over the past year.
Wanting to get back in the squared circle for a major company, Saraya could choose to make her return to AEW instead.
Considering her unfinished business with her former Outcasts stablemates, Saraya could be revealed as the mystery attacker on Timeless Toni Storm upon her return at AEW Dynasty 2026.
