WWE
The WWE Intercontinental Championship is one of the most prestigious titles in all of the company that a who’s who of stars have held.
Looking at the current free agency market and talent all around the world, there are several different former Intercontinental Champions who have the chance to come back into the fold.
With WWE not being shy about signing free agents, there is a strong possibility that former I.C. Champs could reemerge to become key players for the company moving forward.
Here are six former WWE Intercontinental Champions to potentially re-sign with the company.
6. Paul Wight / Big Show

In 2021, Paul Wight signed with All Elite Wrestling as a commentator and other backstage roles.
After a two decade run with WWE, several fans were surprised to see Wight leave the promotion when he did despite his in-ring career being mostly behind him.
While Wight seems happy in his place in AEW, there is a possibility that the former Big Show could make a return to WWE one day.
Wight re-signing with WWE could also open the door for the former multi-time WWE Champion to finally be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
