As AEW Double or Nothing 2025 draws closer, speculation is rampant regarding potential debuts we could see take place at the event – including names formerly signed to WWE.
Whether it be legends or newly minted free agents, there are many opportunities across the card for new faces to show up and make an immediate impact.
Here are seven former WWE stars to potentially appear at AEW Double Or Nothing 2025.
7. Cedric Alexander
The name that keeps getting mentioned for a possible signing with All Elite Wrestling has been Cedric Alexander.
After being released from WWE in February, many fans assumed that Alexander could join MVP, Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin in AEW due to their history together in WWE’s short-lived Hurt Business faction.
Now known as The Hurt Syndicate, the group has become one of the most popular in the entire company, with Benjamin and Lashley currently holding the AEW World Tag Team Championships.
Many fans believe Cedric may get involved in the MJF contract signing on the May 21 episode of AEW Dynamite, but they could hold off on his debut until AEW Double Or Nothing to help Lashley and Benjamin retain the gold against Sammy Guevara and Dustin Rhodes.
