While there is continual movement within professional wrestling, there are always former WWE stars that fans hope to see back one day.
From Hall of Famers to those who are still active in other companies – there are a lot of former WWE stars that would be great to see back “home”.
Here are eight former WWE stars who could re-sign with the company.
8. The Bella Twins
After Nikki Bella made a big in-ring return at Royal Rumble 2025, there have continued to be rumblings that WWE could be headed for a Bella Twins reunion.
With rumors of an upcoming Evolution 2 PLE, perhaps Nikki Bella could see a return to main event action since the inaugural iteration of the event was headlined by herself taking on Ronda Rousey.
Or perhaps they could finally capture the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship – with it being long rumored that they were factored in the initial creative plans for the titles.
Their involvement which included making a surprise return at the SmackDown after WrestleMania 35 which was set to lead to a long feud and according to Brie – an eventual long title reign for the Bellas. With the women’s tag team division largely disappearing in WWE, the move would be a solid way to write the titles off of TV for good, or see Nikki and Brie inject some new life into the division.
