WWE
With AEW signing a bunch of free agents to start 2026, fans should expect WWE could do the same in the months to come.
Looking at the current free agents, there are quite a few former WWE Tag Team Champions who could make their return to the company.
From duos coming back together or one half of former Tag Team Champs who want a second stint with the promotion, WWE could see an influx of familiar names re-entering the fold throughout this year.
Here are seven former WWE Tag Team Champions to potentially re-sign with the company.
7. The Good Brothers (Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows)

Back in February 2025, The Good Brothers were part of the latest round of WWE talent cuts, ending their second stint with the company.
Since then, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows have returned to the independent scene and made appearances for a number of notable promotions, such as New Japan Pro Wrestling, Pro Wrestling NOAH and MLW.
Considering their experience as multi-time tag team champions in WWE and NJPW, The Good Brothers feel like a great addition to any tag scene out there.
If WWE wants to rebuild their tag division, The Good Brothers could bring the tandem back into play and position them to help build up some younger pairings on Raw, SmackDown or NXT.
