With a variety of potential returns coming soon in WWE, there could be some fan favorite tag teams reunited on screen.

From tag teams that have been away from WWE for quite some time, to others who could continue their crossover appearances in the company — there are some intriguing possibilities for returns.

Here are five former WWE tag teams that could be back in action in the company soon.

5. AJ Lee & Paige

With AJ Lee back in WWE, some fans remain hopeful that her former opponent and tag partner Paige could follow suit.

While their alliance was brief, it ended up being a memorable one for the duo of fan favorite frenemies.

Similar to AJ Lee’s decade-long absence in WWE, it has been over eight years since Paige last competed in a WWE ring, but she did return to in-ring action when she joined AEW in 2022.

Potentially being the next major Divas era star to make a big return to WWE, Paige could certainly end up lending a hand to AJ Lee before potentially turning heel on her later to kick off a feud between the pair.
