AEW
Ever since winning the AEW World Championship at AEW All In Texas 2025, Hangman Adam Page has been firmly established himself as the top star and ace of the company.
Page has overcome any and all challengers from Jon Moxley to Kyle Fletcher, but this reign could still end before it develops into one of the more memorable ones in AEW history.
Looking at the AEW roster, there are a variety of different names who could potentially replace Hangman in this role and excel in a similar fashion to that of the Owen Hart Cup winner.
Here are eight potential Hangman Adam Page replacements as AEW World Champion.
8. Samoa Joe

At AEW WrestleDream 2025, Hangman Adam Page defeated Samoa Joe to retain the AEW World Title.
Post match, Joe showed respect to Page with a handshake and hug before raising his hand and then proceeding to turn on the champion with a clothesline. This led to the rest of The Opps also attacking Hangman as well.
Now turning heel for the first time in over a year, Joe could become the monster he once was that led to him capturing the AEW World Championship in 2023.
With his focus directly on winning the top prize in the promotion, Joe could be the one who destroys Hangman Page and becomes a two-time AEW World Champion sooner rather than later.
