At WWE Clash In Italy 2026, Roman Reigns defeated Jacob Fatu in a Tribal Combat to retain the World Heavyweight Championship.

Following the premium live event, Fatu was forced to acknowledge Reigns as “The Tribal Chief.”

To go along with this acknowledgment, “The Samoan Werewolf” had to join Reigns and The Usos in The Bloodline.

This rubbed several people the wrong way, including Fatu’s longtime friend Royce Keys.

This eventually led to Fatu defeating Keys in a Street Fight and brutally assaulting his former friend after the bout on the August 3 episode of Monday Night Raw.

However, the former Powerhouse Hobbs returned on the August 24 Raw with Lucien Price and Bronco Nima by his side to attack The Usos, LA Knight and Solo Sikoa.

In the weeks since then, this new faction known as “946” have ran roughshod over the red brand.

While Sikoa, Knight and The Usos have been attacked in consecutive weeks, Jacob Fatu has not been touched.

Considering the attack that took him out of action, it is very suspicious that Fatu has not been a victim of Royce Keys and OTM’s assaults.

This may all lead to “The Samoan Werewolf” being revealed as a secret member for this new stable that are the talk of the town on Raw.

Why Jacob Fatu needs the ‘946’ group?

WWE Raw stars Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu

Since joining The Bloodline, it has felt like Jacob Fatu has been undermined and lost momentum.

Upon returning to WWE at the start of 2026, Fatu became one of the most popular stars on the roster.

Feuding with the likes of Cody Rhodes, Drew McIntyre and Roman Reigns this year, it seemed like Fatu was close to establishing himself as the newest main eventer in WWE.

With his current role alongside Roman Reigns and The Usos, Fatu could fade into the background of The Bloodline.

Since the arrival of “946,” Fatu has been conspicuously absent from the attacks of Royce Keys and OTM.

Fatu has also explained to Reigns and The Usos that he knows how these guys operate since he is also from the Bay Area of California.

It feels like WWE is sowing the seeds for a possible alliance with Fatu joining forces with Keys, Lucien Price and Bronco Nima sometime down the road.

This could all lead to it being revealed that Fatu was the one who opened the door for “946” coming into WWE.

Fatu becoming a leader for this new faction may be the best to help “The Samoan Werewolf” regain his momentum in a major way.

Fatu, Keys and OTM could be a force that The Bloodline cannot control or overcome.

If he joined this group, it might be the perfect setup for WarGames between “946” and The Bloodline at this year’s WWE Survivor Series.

Wanting to cement his place as a top star, Fatu joining “946” could see him firmly solidified as a threat to Roman Reigns and The Bloodline moving forward.
