6 WWE Plans For John Cena Retirement Match

6 WWE Plans For John Cena Retirement Match WWE

John Cena appeared at WWE Money in the Bank 2024 and announced his retirement from in-ring action featuring a ‘farewell tour’.

The tour will include the 2025 Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber, and finally, WrestleMania.

Here are six potential opponents for John Cena in his retirement match at WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas.

6. Randy Orton vs. John Cena At WrestleMania

John Cena and Randy Orton is one of the rivalries that defined a generation, but they never actually had a one-on-one match at WrestleMania.

There was a three-way in 2008 with Triple H, but John Cena vs Randy Orton at WrestleMania in a singles match just never happened, despite how many matches they had pretty much everywhere else.

This is literally the last chance for any of these matches to happen, and Randy Orton might just be the one that a certain generation of fans clamor for the most.

Unlike many in Triple H’s forward-planning era of WWE booking, Randy Orton doesn’t exactly have a clear route to WrestleMania 41, so his schedule may well be open.
