John Cena is set to return to the company following his win over AJ Styles at WWE Crown Jewel 2025 on the November 10 edition of Monday Night Raw.
With the company announcing his final Raw appearance on November 17 and the final two dates already scheduled, the last four dates will be important to cap off the retirement tour of Cena.
Considering there are only a few dates left on the tour, Cena’s upcoming return should have significant plans to make it impactful and to get the most out of every appearance he has left.
Here are six potential John Cena WWE return plans.
6. First Ever Match Against LA Knight

Back in 2023, John Cena returned for multiple dates during the summer and became a consistent presence on Friday Night SmackDown.
During this time, Cena formed a partnership and bond with LA Knight where he suggested him for his first opportunity at Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
Cena endorsing Knight went a long way to get him accepted by the wider WWE audience, but that is something that can be called back to when these two men finally face each other in the ring.
With this history together, a first time ever meeting against John Cena on his retirement tour would be huge for Knight and his ascent to the top of WWE.
