WWE WrestleMania 42 Saturday is almost here, with the show set to kick off the biggest weekend of the year for the company in Las Vegas.

Looking , there may be some last-minute adjustments to make the evening even more special.

From added stipulations to new individuals being added to certain matches, there is a lot the company could add or take away to bolster the first night of “The Grandest Stage of Them All.”

Here are seven potential last-minute changes to WWE WrestleMania 42 Saturday.

7. Winner Of Drew McIntyre vs. Jacob Fatu Unsanctioned Match Gets A Shot At The Undisputed WWE Championship

Since the start of 2026, both Drew McIntyre and Jacob Fatu have deeply involved in the Undisputed WWE Championship picture.

McIntyre captured the title from Cody Rhodes in a Three Stages of Hell thanks to an inadvertent assist from the returning Fatu.

However, Fatu then made things right when he cost McIntyre the title to Rhodes on the March 6 episode of Friday Night SmackDown.

With Fatu and McIntyre battling in an Unsanctioned Match at WrestleMania 42, it would be appropriate to grant the winner of this war a shot at the Undisputed WWE Championship coming out of “The Show of Shows.”

6. Paige Returns To WWE To Replace The Injured Nikki Bella In WWE Women’s Tag Team Title Four-Way

Ever since Nikki Bella suffered an ankle injury on the March 27 episode of SmackDown, the former WWE Divas Champion’s status for WrestleMania 42 has been in doubt.

Just one day ahead of WWE WrestleMania 42 Night One, it was reported that Nikki Bella would not be cleared to team with her sister Brie in the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship four-way, also featuring The Irresistible Forces, Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss and Bayley & Lyra Valkyria.

Then, shortly after that report, another update confirmed that Nikki’s replacement in that match would be none other than Paige, who has been a free agent for over a year after departing AEW in March 2025.

Reportedly re-signing with WWE, the English star will return to in-ring competition in WWE for the first time in almost a decade after retiring in 2018.

5. KSI Announced As Being In The Corner Of IShowSpeed & The Vision Against LA Knight & The Usos

Over the past few years, Logan Paul has made a recurring habit of featuring one of his streaming or YouTuber friends during his matches at WrestleMania.

While he started out in the PRIME mascot suit at WrestleMania 40, IShowSpeed will now find himself in the squared circle when he teams with Paul and Austin Theory of The Vision to face LA Knight and The Usos.

With Paul and Speed being featured in this bout, it feels fitting to have another social media megastar also make an appearance.

After his debut appearance at WrestleMania 39, KSI could make a return alongside Speed and Paul for their six-man tag team match on “The Grandest Stage of Them All.”

4. Paul Heyman Joins GUNTHER In His Corner Against Seth Rollins

For months, Seth Rollins has made Paul Heyman’s life a living hell with attacks on The Vision and the WWE Hall of Famer.

Just when it looked like Rollins was going to put a bow on his rivalry with Heyman, it was GUNTHER, who stepped in to choke out “The Visionary” to challenge him for a showdown at WrestleMania 42.

“The Ring General” has been promised a favor in exchange for his help, but he is more focused on proving himself to the best in the ring and not Rollins.

However, Paul Heyman could provide much needed guidance, so he might be added to GUNTHER’s corner for this highly anticipated encounter with Rollins at Mania.

3. AJ Lee vs. Becky Lynch WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship Match Gets An I Quit Stipulation

Since making her return to WWE in September 2025, AJ Lee has been a thorn in the side of Becky Lynch.

After making “The Man” submit twice in 2025, Lee went on to do it for a third time to win the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship at Elimination Chamber 2026.

Despite all these months of battles, Lee and Lynch’s title match at WrestleMania 42 remains a standard bout at the time of this writing.

Making AJ vs. Becky an I Quit Match would certainly make this an even more tantalizing affair that could give this feud the proper finality necessary for these two legends.

2. Stephanie Vaquer vs. Liv Morgan WWE Women’s World Championship Bout Made Into A Street Fight

Another match on the WrestleMania 42 card that might need a stipulation is Stephanie Vaquer vs. Liv Morgan for the WWE Women’s World Championship.

Vaquer and Morgan have been brawling and attacking one another at every turn on the road to Mania.

With the intensity levels reaching an all time high, it feels like a stipulation like a Street Fight might be necessary.

Having Vaquer and Morgan do battle in a Street Fight would help to settle the issues between these two and determine who truly deserves to walk out of Mani as the champion.

1. Jelly Roll To Be In Cody Rhodes’ Corner Against Randy Orton

On the road to WrestleMania 42, the rivalry between Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton have seen other individuals get heavily involved.

Jelly Roll has tried to play peacemaker and the voice of reason between the two rivals, but Orton delivered a RKO to his former tag team partner in a fit of rage.

Then on the April 3 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Pat McAfee revealed himself as the mystery caller who has been influencing this diabolical side of Orton as of late.

With how much both men have been involved, it makes sense for Jelly to side with Rhodes and be in his corner against Orton, who will have McAfee as his cornerman at “The Showcase of the Immortals.”
