Deonna Purrazzo vs. Priscilla Kelly

In the night’s first promo package, Priscilla Kelly discussed playing mind games with her opponent. On the other hand, Deonna Purrazzo focused on her in-ring prowess. A strong first contest finished when Purrazzo locked in an arm bar. The ‘Virtuosa’ flailed to increase the pain dealt to her Moxie opponent. Kelly struggled, and tapped out.

We saw Samoa Joe in the crowd at this time. (Was this before or after he wrote his children’s book? Did he stop to visit Wendy Styles on the way to Full Sail?) Though not present for the match, Bayley made it known that she is a fan of the ‘Virtuosa’.

Bayley and Purrazzo actually have some history, having faced each other in 2016 when the two were in NXT. Purrazzo was active as enhancement talent during the time, putting over the likes of Asuka, Nia Jax, and Bayley. However, after appearing in Ring of Honor, Stardom, and numerous independent promotions, she was an alternate in last year’s Mae Young Classic. This May she was signed to a contract by WWE, so we should expect to see more of the ‘Virtuosa’ in the future.
