NXT recently held it’s Heatwave premium live event, which saw almost every single championship on the brand change hands.
While not always an indicator of future plans, often times NXT stars lose championships and other big matches when they are about to be moved up to the WWE main roster.
Coming out of the show, here are the current WWE NXT stars we could soon see debut on the main roster.
Tony D’Angelo
Tony D’Angelo reigned as NXT Champion for 148 days before losing the title to Grayson Waller at NXT Heatwave.
Tony D’Angelo is the last of a generation in NXT, as all the rest of his NXT 2.0 cohorts have made the move up to the main roster.
While Grayson Waller has since returned to NXT, he, Carmelo Hayes, Bron Breakker and Trick Williams have all moved up to Raw and SmackDown and captured championships while Tony D remained in NXT.
After finally capturing the NXT Championship at Stand & Deliver, Tony lost the title to Grayson Waller at Heatwave.
Coming out of the show and his title loss, now could finally be the time we see D’Angelo join his classmates on the main roster.
Lola Vice
Lola Vice will make her debut on WWE Raw next week in Mexico City
One NXT debut that we are confirmed to see on the main roster soon is former NXT Women’s Champion Lola Vice.
After losing her rematch to Kendal Grey in the Underground, Lola has not appeared on NXT television since, with vignettes for her debut already airing on Raw.
Lola is set to make her debut on the Raw brand next week in Mexico City, where she will almost certainly be a future big player.
Kendal Grey
Kendal Grey lost her NTX Women’s Championship to Kelani Jordan at NXT Heatwave 2026.
Speaking of Kendal Grey, she herself has found herself as part of call up speculation following her NXT Women’s Championship loss.
Kendal was defeated by Kelani Jordan at Heatwave, with Kelani capturing the title at the first time of asking.
While Kendal will likely have a rematch for the title down the line, she is by far the standout of the NXT Women’s division right now, and a call up to the main roster could add some excitement to either Raw or SmackDown.
