Carmella Out, Piper Niven In
UPDATE – Carmella was pulled from the match, but replaced by Sonya Deville, not Piper Niven.
As of writing, one more team is set to be announced for the women’s WrestleMania Showcase match.
It was originally reported that the teams set to be involved in this match were Raquel & Liv Morgan, Natalya & Shotzi, Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler and Carmella & Chelsea Green.
With the former three teams now announced for the bout, there has been some uncertainty surrounding the last team, with Carmella missing the March 20 edition of Raw.
With rumors swirling surrounding a potential Carmella replacement for the match, it is possible that Piper Niven could take the former Women’s Champion’s place, following her return to action earlier this year.
