So it seems like we may finally be coming to an end of the CM Punk and AEW drama.
AEW are reportedly set to launch a prime time Saturday night show, likely named AEW Collision, which would feature Punk as a way to keep him separate from the Elite.
The company has tentatively pencilled in the June 21 episode of Dynamite in Chicago, or at least around that time, as the date of his return.
Punk coming back is a risk that Tony Khan will be taking, but it’s one that could prove to be worth it, as there are still many matches waiting for Punk in AEW that we need to see.

Lets get the obvious out of the way here.
If these matches are somehow possible, they’ll make Tony Khan a lot of money.
The latest report from Fightful Select noted that Punk was willing to return to AEW, including a willingness to work with the Elite.
If the Elite are able to also be willing to work with Punk, then the natural first story back for Punk would be against them, which sets up a series of big matches, with Omega vs Punk being the marquee singles match for All Out.
