With less than two weeks to go, currently the card for AEW Double or Nothing 2025 remains at only two announced matches.
While the Owen Hart Cup finals are big ones – pitting Will Ospreay against Hangman Adam Page and Mercedes Mone against Jamie Hayter – there are still a lot more matches that seem likely to be announced.
Here are eight matches that could be added to AEW Double or Nothing 2025.
8. MJF vs. Bobby Lashley
While Bobby Lashley is poised to respond to MJF regarding his persistence in attempting to join the Hurt Syndicate, it would make sense to see this fall apart before Max’s eyes.
Perhaps Lashley will let him into the group on a conditional basis, but it seems far more likely that sometime within the next couple weeks, conflict finally boils over between MJF and Lashley in the ring.
With MJF having previously discussed his rejection sensitivity as a defining characteristic of his drive, it would seem odd that he would be handling Lashley’s repeated rebuffs so well.
It could be that MJF is on the verge of a complete ego collapse in the face of final rejection from Lashley which could lead to him forming his own faction to rival the Hurt Syndicate. There are some details left to be revealed, but it certainly seems if not at Double or Nothing, sometime in the future, MJF and Bobby Lashley will go head-to-head.
